Tech Mahindra reported a net profit of ₹1,585.6 crore for July to September, up 32.7% from a year earlier. Revenue rose 15.6% to ₹16,180 crore, or $1.69 billion.

The company signed new deals worth $1.02 billion, against $816 million a year ago. Deal wins over the past 12 months total $4.27 billion.

Margins and hiring

The EBIT margin improved to 14.8% from 12.1% a year earlier.

Headcount rose by 5,446 to 1,52,206.
