MobiKwik’s lending arm, MobiKwik Financial Services, has received a licence from the RBI to operate as a non‑banking finance company.

The company expects to start lending within three to six months. It aims to disburse ₹5,000 crore of loans over the next three to four years.

Until now MobiKwik has offered credit through partner lenders. Its own licence lets it lend from its own books.
